In-House Marketing & Hospitality on Broadway
How I got my start.
Formerly known as the Audience Concierge, I've been working in this role on Broadway since 2017. Together with Broadway Plus, we've put together a staff that makes this service to any Broadway show looking to increase its social presence and activate audience engagement.
The In-House Marketing and Hospitality Manager's primary function is to capture content in-house and ensure the use of correct hash-tags and geo-tags. The role operates entirely during performance hours with the main goal of generating future sales and word-of-mouth for the show. They are available at the discretion of general and marketing management to coordinate talk-backs, manage stage door lists, and perform other hospitality and marketing functions, alleviating time pressures and ensuring positive experiences that in turn generate positive social buzz.
The manager streamlines all marketing/social media activations on-site, providing a helping hand to management teams. Each week, a report is also provided to management detailing audience trends, questions, changes, selling points, and other valuable insights.
